On Monday to Tuesday, August 5th – 6th, 2024 at Zoom, a 4G LTE Technology Training was conducted which was attended by 7 participants from Kacific Broadband Satellites Ltd. This training provides an in-depth understanding of LTE technology, cellular technology evolution, LTE main requirements, key technologies, and features of LTE evolution. Participants learned about the network architecture evolution from legacy 3G, how to draw the LTE network subsystem, and understand how these components work together to provide efficient LTE network services. The training also covers features such as VoLTE, enabling high-quality voice calls over LTE networks, Carrier Aggregation, MIMO, and LTE Advanced, along with optimization techniques for their use. Participants are expected to recognize the characteristics of radio propagation and determine the type of fading in wireless communication. In the aspect of RAN LTE Planning, participants understand basic parameters in LTE network planning, including bandwidth, frequency, coverage, uplink and downlink planning, and how to calculate the link budget. Thus, this training prepares participants to effectively design, manage, and optimize LTE networks for optimal performance and high-quality service.
