Online Webinar for 5G and IoT with the title “Are you a talent ready for 5G and IoT?” On Monday, 28 June 2021. The rapid development of technology in the era of globalization has had a significant impact on changes in various aspects of the life of Indonesian society today, including the need for internet and network coverage for operators capable of serving all regions and remote areas in Indonesia. Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world, which is located in Southeast Asia. Archipelago countries have their own challenges in preparing infrastructure, especially telecommunications infrastructure. With the launching of "Making Indonesia 4.0" by President Joko Widodo and the Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartato on April 4, 2018, shows that this is the momentum and commitment of the government to support the development of industry 4.0 in Indonesia. As we will have 5G soon in Indonesia, we need to prepare the infrastructures as well as the human resources needed to cover the needs in fulfilling the demands. Infrastructure readiness is the main key in absorbing technology, be it 4G or 5G. 4G infrastructure itself is felt to be uneven throughout Indonesia. From this background, theTeam intends to hold an Online Webinar with the theme "Are you a talent ready for 5G and IoT? ". This webinar aims to produce various solutions and innovative thoughts related to issues and problems that become themes. It takes an active role from various parties in order to contribute to the state and nation of Indonesia. This webinar is a collaboration of the IEEE Comsoc, ASIOTI – Asosiasi Internet of Things Indonesia, Zarp lab and Train4best.
